Republican Alert! Very Important!

Regular visitors to The Columbian’s website know there’s a weekly poll, put up by Editor Lou. Last week the question was about the Vancouver City Council, and this week’s question was about the Clark County Board of Commissioners. Editor Lou noticed today there has been a sudden surge of votes for Republican David Madore, who before the email below was sent, was neck-and-neck with Big Stu, a Big D. Here’s the email sent out by the local Republican party, and to go to the poll, click here.

Love how the author cautions people not to vote twice. Sign your names multiple times on an official petition, sure, but vote twice in an unscientific poll? Heavens, no!

Subject: Republican Alert ! Vote in 1 min Poll ! Very Important !

Clark County Republicans,The Columbian has an online poll running.Who do you feel is the strongest (represents your views) member of the Clark County Commission? We have two great Republican Clark County Commissioners, David Madore and Tom Mielke. However, many of our members do not regularly view the Columbian, so we are asking that you click on the link below and show your support.

If we had our way we would have added a fourth choice,
David Madore AND Tom Mielke. Either way, your vote is important!

There are no gimicks! We won’t ask for your email, contact information or your money. Just your Vote!

If you have already voted, please don’t vote twice, but if you have not voted yet………
Please vote now, before the poll is taken down.
