Clark County Commissioner David Madore has a casting call out for folks considering running for city council positions this year.

Yes, it could be you.

Now, I could write a whole bunch of words about how he probably won’t support someone who favors light rail and tolls, or how there are some seats that are probably safe from a Madore backed candidate or how he has supported candidates in the past with two well-funded PACs.

But, come on. We all know what this is.

He’s looking for a candidate to run against Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt.

It isn’t exactly a secret. I mean, just listen to this guy talk about it:
