Truth in advertising

Clark County Commissioner Tom Mielke ran a four-page insert in Thursday’s newspaper, and it included photographs. Some were obviously dated — a photo of one of his rigs from when he owned a trucking company, for example, and from when he was a state representative.

Other photos were presented as if they were current, but please remember Mielke is 70. And while he looks good for his age, he does not currently look like this:

Was that taken at the unveiling of the second span?

But my favorite pic is this one:

After all, he did throw out baseball.
