Dueling Columbia River Crossing videos

Supporters and opponents of the Columbia River Crossing project have both released videos to help make their cases. The first video is posted on the website of the Columbia River Crossing Coalition, an organization that supports the $3.4 billion Interstate-5 Bridge replacement.

The second video was reportedly created by Couv.com, a website owned by CRC opponent and recently-elected Clark County Commissioner David Madore.

The Washington Legislature is weighing whether to commit the state’s $450 million share of the project. Oregon legislators have agreed to commit Oregon’s share for the new bridge, but that promise is contingent on whether Washington follows suit this year.
