Camas is now unanimous pick at No. 1 in Class 4A in latest Associated Press state football rankings

Camas is now an unanimous selection as the No. 1 team in Class 4A in the latest Associated Press media state football rankings released Wednesday.

In previous ballots, Sumner had been receiving a first-place vote. But apparently a voter was swayed to support Camas after Sumner’s narrow win over unranked Curtis last week.

Skyview, which snuck back into the 4A top 10, dropped out, despite a 42-0 win over Union. Ridgefield slide up one spot to No. 8 in Class 2A. Seton Catholic and La Center remained at No. 2 and 3 in Class 1A, with Kalama sliding up one spot to No. 7.
