Battle Ground, Hudson’s Bay crack top 10 at 4A and 2A in latest Associated Press state football rankings
Unbeaten Battle Ground and Hudson’s Bay cracked the top 10 in their respective classifications for the first this season, as the latest Associated Press state high school football rankings were released on Tuesday.
Battle Ground (5-0) received 13 points to edge out Bothell for the No. 10 spot in Class 4A. Camas (4-1) moved up on spot to No. 7 and Skyview (5-0) held at No. 4, despite receiving one first-place vote.
Hudson’s Bay (5-0) came in at No. 9 in the Class 2A rankings. The Eagles are the only local 2A team in this week’s Top 10.
Seton Catholic (5-0), which debuted at No. 9 last week in Class 1A, slipped one spot to No. 10 this week despite beating Columbia-White Salmon last week. La Center (5-0) held at No. 5.
And Kalama (3-2) moved up one spot to No. 9 in the 2B rankings.
