Skyview joins top-10 in Class 4A in latest Associated Press state football rankings

Skyview capped the top-10 in Class 4A, giving Southwest Washington a pair of ranked teams in the latest Associated Press state football rankings released Wednesday.

Skyview (3-1) received 17 points from a nine-person statewide voting panel, putting the Storm at No. 10 in Class 4A, just one point more than Richland and one point less than No. 9 Graham-Kapowsin.

Skyview has won three games in a row since a season-opening 24-21 loss to Jesuit of Beaverton, Ore.

La Center (3-1) remained the other ranked area team. The Wildcats, also winners of three straight, moved up one spot to No. 9 in the Class 1A rankings.
