La Center remains lone local team in Associated Press state football rankings

For the second consecutive week, La Center is the lone team from Southwest Washington (Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania counties). We thought perhaps Skyview’s win over Bothell might impress voters, but it did not.

La Center (2-1) again sat at No. 10 in the Class 1A rankings, receiving 13 points from the nine voting members of the state media.
