Boys basketball teams from the region that have reached the postseason and what is next on their postseason schedules:
Union (17-5) lost to Curtis 60-58 (21-3) in a bi-district semifinal Thursday. The Titans will play Tahoma or Federal Way in the bi-district third-place game at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Curtis HS. Union has clinched a berth in the state regional round..
Camas (20-3) beat Kentwood 77-65 in another loser-out game at 6 p.m. Wednesday. The Papermakers play at Graham-Kapowsin (11-10) in a bi-district winner-to-state/loser-out game at 7 p.m. Friday.
Skyview (7-10) lost to Sumner 52-41 in a bi-district loser-out game. The Storm’s season had ended.
Class 3A
Kelso (14-7) lost to Timberline 67-57 in a bi-district semifinal. The Hilanders will play Auburn or Mt. Tahoma in the bi-district third-place game at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Auburn HS. Kelso has clinch a berth in the state regional round.
Mountain View (12-7) beat Todd Beamer 66-63 in a loser-out game. The Thunder will play at Spanaway Lake (12-7) at 6 p.m. Friday in a winner-to-state game. If Mountain View loses Friday, the Thunder will get a second chance to advance on Saturday.
Evergreen (10-12) beat Capital 56-43 in a loser-out game on Wednesday. The Plainsmen will play at Gig Harbor (20-2) in a winner-to-state game at 6 p.m. Friday. If Evergreen loses Friday, the Plainsmen will get a second chance to advance on Saturday.
Class 2A
R.A. Long (18-2) beat Mark Morris 79-51 in a district semifinal. R.A. Long will play Tumwater (18-3) in the district championship at 8 p.m. Friday at Mark Morris High School. The Lumberjacks have clinched a berth in the state regional round.
Ridgefield (17-6) lost to W.F. West 48-44 in a winner-to-state/loser-out game Thursday. The Spudders’ season has ended.
Mark Morris (15-8) beat Black Hills 80-57 in a winner-to-state/loser-out game. The Monarchs’ next game will come in the regional round of state on Feb. 25-26.
Woodland (13-8) lost to Black Hills 58-47 in a loser-out game. The Beavers’ season has ended.
Columbia River (7-13) lost to Shelton 50-48 in the district pigtail game. The Rapids’ season has ended.
Class 1A
King’s Way Christian (14-5) beat Montesano 71-27 in a loser-out game. The Knights will play Seton Catholic in a district winner-to-state/loser out at 6 p.m. Friday at Fort Vancouver High School.
Seton Catholic (16-5) beat Tenino 63-39 in a loser-out game. The Cougars will play King’s Way Christian in a district winner-to-state/loser out at 6 p.m. Friday at Fort Vancouver High School.
Castle Rock (14-7) beat King’s Way Christian 46-43 in the district semifinal. The Rockets will play Eatonville (14-5) in the district title game at 7 p.m. Friday at Montesano HS. The Rockets have clinched a berth to the regional round of state.
La Center (7-15) lost to Montesano 55-42 in a loser-out game. The Wildcats’ season has ended.
Class 2B
Kalama (18-1) beat Napavine 59-58 in a district semifinal. The Chinook have clinched a berth to the regional round of state. Kalama will play Morton/White Pass (16-5) in the district championship at 8 p.m. Saturday at W.F. West HS.
Class 1B
Firm Foundation (10-8) lost to Naselle 87-39 in a loser-out game. The Eagles’ season has ended.
