Game notes: Seattle Prep was 3-4 in the 3A Metro League. The Panthers can score, averaging 35 points a game. But they also allowed 31.5 points a game. Seattle Prep lost to Rainier Beach 45-35 to finish fifth in the Metro Mountain Division. That meant the Panthers had to beat Roosevelt to earn a spot in the Week 10 playoffs. Quarterback Braeden Smith threw three TD passes to Jack Velling in the Rainier Beach game, and he also returned a kickoff 94 yards for a score. Mountain View, the 3A Greater St. Helens League champion, comes into this game having won its last 10 games against 3A opponents dating back to 2019.
