Game notes: Seton Catholic (1-1) fell to Castle Rock 50-16 last week. Elijah Volk rushed for 60 yards and one TD. Lance Stuck caught five passes for 62 yards and one TD. Tenino (0-3) lost to Hoquiam 12-0. The Beavers have scored just 14 points in three games, but have only allowed 41 total.
Evergreen vs. Heritage

Game notes: Evergreen (1-0) beat Prairie last week 34-22. Quarterback JJ Woodin passed for 339 yards and four touchdowns. Heritage (1-0) beat Battle Ground 26-0. The defense held Battle Ground to 26 yards. Starting QB Nikki Scott left with an injury in the third quarter. Heritage has won the last four meetings with Evergreen, including 35-28 in 2019.

Union (1-0) used its defense beat Camas 17-9, led by captain Therman Bibens. Union leads the series 9-1, but the last three games have been close, with Union winning 20-10 in 2019.

Game notes: Skyview (1-0) beat W.F. West 26-20 in overtime last week in a non-league game. Running back Gabe Martin rushed for three touchdowns, including the game-winner. Prairie (0-1) lost to Evergreen 34-22. RB Dustin Shelby rushed for 77 yards and one TD before leaving in the second quarter with an injury. Alexander Ford rushed for 54 yards in relief of Shelby. This is the two schools’ first meeting since 2013.

The Spudders have outscored foes 90-0 this season. Luke Price passed for 273 yards last week and four touchdowns and rushed for another. The Spudders won last week’s meeting 20-13.

The Hawks have allowed just three points in two games, holding Woodland to 23 net yards last week. Hockinson leads the series with River 4-1, winning the last four since River joined the 2A GSHL.
