Game notes: This is Stevenson’s season opener. The Bulldogs are dropping down to Class 2B after opting up to play as a member of the 1A Trico League in years page. Stevenson went 3-6 last season. Ilwaco lost to Raymond/South Bend on Monday 24-13. The Class 2B Fishermen went 4-5 last season. This is the two schools’ first meeting since 2013, when both were Trico members.
Castle Rock vs. Goldendale

Game notes: Season opener for both teams. Castle Rock is coming off a 7-3 season in 2019 that included a 50-22 district playoff lost to Hoquiam. Goldendale, a member of the 2B EWAC, is joining the Trico League on a temporary basis this season. The Timberwolves are coming off a 3-7 season.
Hockinson vs. R.A. Long

Game notes: Season opener for both teams. Hockinson is coming off an 11-2 season in 2019, advancing to the 2A state semifinals before falling to Tumwater 55-7. R.A. Long went 1-8 in 2019. The Lumberjacks have lost 14 straight 2A GSHL game. In 2019, Hockinson beat R.A. Long 62-14, and the Hawks have won the last six in this series. The Lumberjacks’ last win came in 2013.

Game notes: Season opener for both teams. La Center is coming off a 9-1 season in 2019, falling to Connell 17-7 in the first round of the 1A state playoffs. Fort Vancouver went 1-8 in 2019 as a Class 3A independent. The Trappers are playing a Trico League schedule this season. This is the two schools’ first meeting since 2006.
Columbia-White Salmon vs. Seton Catholic

Game notes: Season opener for both teams. Columbia-White Salmon is coming off a 4-5 season in 2019. Seton Catholic went 4-4 in 2019. Columbia beat Seton Catholic 42-0 in 2019. The Bruins have won all seven meetings in the series.

Game notes: Season opener for both teams. Columbia River is coming off a 3-7 season in 2019 that included a 66-13 loss to Tumwater in the 2A district playoff. Woodland went 2-7 in 2019. Woodland beat Columbia River 20-13 in 2019. The two schools have split the four meetings since River joined the 2A GSHL in 2016.
Mark Morris vs. Washougal

Game notes: Season opener for both teams. Mark Morris is coming off a 3-6 season in 2019. Washougal went 7-5 in 2019, advancing to the 2A state quarterfinals before falling to Lynden 29-26. Washougal beat Mark Morris 40-7 in 2019. The Panthers have won the last four meetings in the series.
Napavine vs. Kalama

Game notes: This is Kalama’s season opener. Napavine lost 38-0 to Onalaska on Monday. Kalama is coming of an 11-3 season in 2019, ending with a 48-30 loss in the 2B state title game to Onalaska. Napavine went 10-2, ending with a 44-42 overtime loss to Kalama in the 2B state semifinals. The two schools split their two meetings in 2019, with Napavine winning on 33-27 on Sept. 13. The two schools have met twice, once in league play and once in the playoffs, every year since Kalama joined the Southwest 2B League in 2016.
