Jesse Norris hired as new girls basketball coach at Columbia River
Jesse Norris, an junior varsity coach at Washougal and Ridgefield high schools, has been hired as the varsity girls basketball coach at Columbia River High School, the school announced Friday.
Norris was the JV girls coach at Washougal in 2017-18 to 2018-19 and was the JV boys coach at Ridgefield last season.
Norris replaces Will Jones, who led the River girls team for three season before leaving to become Hudson’s Bay varsity boys basketball coach in August.
Norris is a 2006 Mountain View High School graduate and a former all-league performer for the Thunder in basketball.
