Ridgefield’s Delaney Nicoll is named 2A state volleyball player of the year by coaches
The honors continue to roll in for Ridgefield’s Delaney Nicoll.
The senior outside hitter was named the Class 2A state player of the year by the Washington State Volleyball Coaches Association.
Nicoll’s teammates Allie Andrew and Emilea Stepaniuk earned places on the WSVCA’s Class 2A all-state second team.
Columbia River’s Maddie Sheron and Emma Adams, as well as Woodland’s Emma Swett and Nicole Guthrie, earned all-state honorable mention.
Castle Rock’s Logann Golden made the 1A all-state first team. La Center’s Tiffany Chandler and King’s Way Christian’s Abby Cummins made the 1A second team.
Earning honorable mention were Dana Snider, Ally Evanson and Brooke Mattel of King’s Way Christian, plus Brooke Wirkkala and Renae Holter of Castle Rock.
At Class 4A, Emma Villaluz of Camas earned honorable mention.
At Class 3A, Jaydia Martin of Hudson’s Bay made the second-team. Prairie’s Sophia Carter and Jamie Packer earned honorable mention along with Kelso’s Bella Hadaller, Ashley Noah and Allie Gaston of Kelso.
At Class 1B, Firm Foundation’s Katie Kogler made the second team.
