ABOUT COLUMBIA RIVER: The Chieftains earned the No. 4 seed from the 2A Greater St. Helens League when Woodland lost to Mark Morris last week. River has lost two in a row, including last week’s non-league loss on the road. River has one common opponent with Tumwater – Centralia. River lost to Centralia 48-33 in Week 1. QB Mason Priddy threw two TD passes last week. RB Isaac Bibb-O’Neill had a TD run.

ABOUT TUMWATER: The Thunderbirds are the 2A Evergreen Conference champion. The T-birds do most of their damage on the ground. They ground out 403 of their 464 yards of offense against Centralia on the ground. Dylan Paine led Tumwater with 121 yards. Jaylen Clay added 102 on just three carries, scoring two touchdowns. Tumwater’s defense has not allowed an opponent to score in double digits in its last five games. Tumwater has scored 54 points or more in six of nine games this season.
