ABOUT COLUMBIA RIVER: Columbia River will clinch a playoff berth with a win. This is Woodland’s final league game. River could finish tied for second with Washougal and Ridgefield, which would require a three-team tiebreaker on Nov. 4 to sort out the No. 2, 3 and 4 seeds to the Week 10 district playoffs. After missing three games with a broken hand, Isaac Bibb-O’Neill has rushed for 342 yards and six touchdowns over the past three weeks, giving the Chieftains some balance on offense. QB Mason Priddy has thrown for 1,228 yards and 10 touchdowns.
ABOUT WOODLAND: Woodland can still reach the playoffs with wins in the final two weeks. The Beavers play at Mark Morris next week. The Beavers have scored just 12 points in three games since a 55-7 win over R.A. Long. QB Isaiah Flanagan passed for 139 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 43 last week against Ridgefield.
