LAST YEAR: Woodland 42, Ridgefield 21

ABOUT WOODLAND: The Beavers have allowed three of their last four opponents to score 41 points or more. Woodland has been held to seven points or fewer in four of six games. Not a good sign facing a Ridgefield team that is playing really solid defense.

ABOUT RIDGEFIELD: The Spudders held R.A. Long to minus-6 yards of total offense last week in a shutout win. Sam Everett had a 28-yard interception return for a touchdown. Hunter Abrams has been the workhorse in the backfield for the Spudders with 714 yards and 10 TDs on 122 carries. One week after carrying the ball 39 times against Washoual, Abrams was able to take a break last week. He carried the ball only twice, but both carries resulted in first-quarter touchdowns as the Spudders built a 28-0 lead. QB Luke Price has passed for 809 yards.

FANS’ PICK: Ridgefield (92 percent)
