ABOUT SETON CATHOLIC:  Seton had a bye week to get ready for its league opener. Battling injuries, the Cougars earned a hard-fought 20-12 win over Fort Vancouver two weeks ago, needing a late goal-line stand to hold on. Elijah Volk rushed for 127 yards in the win over Fort. Quarterback Luke Pitzer rushed for 67 yards and completed 7 of 8 passes for 83 yards. Griffin Young caught five passes for 80 yards.

ABOUT STEVENSON: The Bulldogs relied on their defense to score their first win of the season last week, holding Irrigon (Ore.) to 87 rushing yards. Garrett Matheny had three interceptions for Stevenson. Carter Bennett rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown for the Bulldogs.
