ABOUT HUDSON’S BAY: After being outscored 99-7 in their first three losses, the Eagles finally got some good news last week against Franklin of Portland. The Eagles rushed for 314 yards of their 315 yards last week. Mateo Varona rushed for 82 yards, Derek Barnes had 76, Jamarion Hinton had 75 and Raven Barnes had 71 yards. The Bay defense forced two turnovers deep in Franklin territory to set up their first two scores. Bay led 33-0 at one point.

ABOUT MOUNTAIN VIEW: Mountain View’s defense is allowing on average 10 points a game. The Thunder turned to their defense in the second half against Heritage, limiting the Timberwolves to 65 yards as Mountain View pulled away after being tied 7-7 at halftime. The offense struggled to find its rhythm. QB Riley McCarthy passed for 119 yards on a season-low nine completions. He rushed for 54 yards on 22 carries, but with two second-half touchdowns. Dominic Stephens has nine catches for 165 yards on the season. Alec Cann has 11 catches for 164 yards and Davis Delmage has 12 catches for 131 yards.
