ABOUT MOUNTAIN VIEW: Mountain View held Juanita to 107 yards of offense last week. Junior QB Riley McCarthy has been the star on offense, passing for 354 yards and four touchdowns. He’s also rushed for 123 yards and two TDs. Davis Delmage (8 catches, 87 yards) and Alec Cann (7-118) have been McCarthy’s favorite targets.
ABOUT BATTLE GROUND: After a rough Week 1 performance against Seattle Prep, Battle Ground got things turned around against Burlington-Edison. Steven Hancock led the way with 197 yards rushing on 24 carries and two touchdowns. The Tigers rushed for 298 yards.
