ABOUT BLANCHET: After going 7-3 and reaching the state playoffs in 2017, Blanchet struggled through an 0-9 season last year, finishing sixth in the 3A Special District 1 East. The Cavaliers were very young last season, which means several returning starters in 2019.
ABOUT STEVENSON: Stevenson captured its first Trico League title since 1994 last season, losing to Hoquiam 49-0 in a 1A state first-round game. But the Bulldogs suffered heavy losses to graduation.
