ABOUT PRAIRIE: Prairie finished third in the 3A Greater St. Helens League and lost to Lincoln (52-6) in the 3A state preliminary round. It marked the Falcons’ second trip to the postseason in the past two decades. The Falcons return seven starters on offense and defense, including all-league QB AJ Dixson and RB Devante Clayton. ABOUT PARKROSE: Parkrose finished fourth in the seven-team 5A Special District 1 East. The Broncs lost to Silverton (50-26) in the first round of the Oregon 5A state playoffs. Parkrose returns nine all-league players, including first-teamers RB Taydrian Jackson, DL Kimball Moeaki and CB Jay Jay Hudson. Jackson rushed for more than 1,000 yards and 11 TDs. Former Oregon WR Keanon Lowe is in his second season as head coach.
