GAME NOTES: Mark Morris was eliminated from playoff contention with Woodland’s win over Columbia River last week. Woodland has secured the No. 2 seed to the district playoffs and will travel next week to play Tumwater. Senior Tyler Flanagan is about 177 yards shy of the single-season rushing record at Woodland set by this father Glen in 1988. He ran rushed for 162 yards and passed for 162 yards last week against River. Mark Morris QB Dawson Fritz did more running than throwing last week, rushing for 91 yards and one TD. Cole Busch passed for 67 yards for the Monarchs, who snapped a four-game skid to R.A. Long.
