GAME NOTES: Kelso clinches the No. 2 seed from the 3A GSHL with a win. The Hilanders would travel to play Rainier Beach in the Week 10 playoffs. Hudson’s Bay clinches the No. 2 seed with a win and an Evergreen win over Prairie. If Bay and Prairie win, a three-way tie would exist between Kelso, Bay and Prairie for second place. If Bay and Prairie lose, a three-way tie for third would exist between Bay, Prairie and Evergreen. Kelso is looking to rebound from a tough second half vs. Mountain View in which the Thunder outscored the Hilanders 35-0. Josh Webb rushed for 65 yards last week. Bay is coming off a huge game running the ball last week. Toa Kaumatule rushed for 168 yards and 3 touchdowns. Carter Morse rushed for 160 yards and 3 TDs. Morse also passed for 97 yards.
