GAME NOTES: Clarkston is hoping for a Cheney win over Pullman to create a three-way tie for second place in the Great Northern League. The top two teams from the GNL advance to the Week 10 plaoffs. Kaeden Frazier threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns in the Bantams’ win over winless East Valley. Columbia River had clinched the No. 3 seed from the 2A GSHL and will travel to play Black Hills in the playoffs next week. River is trying to regroup from a game in which little went right and the Chieftains lost composure out of frustration. Dawson Lieurance passed for 83 yards last week; Matt Apslund passed for 89. The Chieftains rushed for 71 yards as a team.
