GAME NOTES: The winner of this game will be the 4A GSHL champion and will host a Week 10 playoff game against the loser of Enumclaw-Hazen. The loser of this game will be the No. 2 seed from the 4A GSHL and will travel in Week 10, likely facing Bothell or Eastlake. Camas got a solid effort from quarterback Blake Ascuitto, who played much of this year on the junior varsity. But with Jake Blair already out with a foot injury, Ascuitto was thrust into action last week vs. Skyview when starter Andrew Boyle suffered a season-ending knee injury. Playing the entire second half, Ascuitto completed 9 of 15 passes for 106 yards. The Papermakers have also lost three running backs to injury. Sophomore Jacques Badaloto-Birdsell stepped up to rush for 112 yards. Shane Jamison, a starter at receiver, rushed for 133 yards. Union has also battled injury. Starting quarterback Lincoln Victor has missed the past two games with a bruised tailbone, although coach Rory Rosenbach said Victor could have played last week. The coach decided to give Victor another week off to get healthy. The Titans used their defense to maintain their unbeaten record. Union has allowed 22 total points in three league wins. Union held Battle Ground to 126 total yards and forced five turnovers. Jojo Siofele rushed for 119 yards last week, and Nile Jones rushed for 85.
