LAST WEEK: Kelso beat Prairie 34-18; Evergreen beat Fort Vancouver 45-0

2017 MEETING: Kelso 14, Evergreen 7

GAME NOTES: Kelso tallied 423 yards of offense last week against Prairie, including 324 on the ground. Josh Webb led the way with 182 yards rushing. They also limited the Falcons to just 19 rushing yards on 14 carries. The Hilanders will be tested with Evergreen RB Eli Vaa-Leiataua, who has rushed for 683 yards and eight touchdowns. Vaa-Leiataua gained a season-low 85 yards in limited action against Fort. He also had a 64-yard kickoff return. An injury to starting QB Ryan Blaize forced Rayn Preston into action in Week 4. Preston played so well that Blaize and Preston led the offense in alternating possessions last week. Preston has been a very efficient 16-of-18 passing for 283 yards and 3 TDs. Zyell Griffin is Evergreen’s leading receiver with 16 catches for 258 yards and 4 TDs. Luke Allen has 61-yard TD reception last week.
