GAME NOTES: Look for Bellevue to run, run and run the ball some more. The Wolverines have attempted five passes in their first three games. But they have three rushers with 221 yards or more. Joby Schneider leads with 305 yards, Alex Reid has 242 yards and quarterback Drew Fowler has 221 yards and seven touchowns. Bellevue opened the season with an 18-7 win over Central Valley, the team that eliminated Camas last fall in the state playoffs. Fowler is Bellevue’s backup quarterback. Starter Joey Echigoshima missed the first two games with a hamstring injury. He started against Bellevue but reinjured himself in the first half. Fowler led a 30-0 run in the second half against Garfield, which turned a 21-8 deficit into a 38-21 lead. Since falling behind 31-0 in the second quarter of Week 1 against Lincoln, Camas has outscored opponents 148-14, and seven of those points allowed came in running-clock time last week vs. West Valley. The Papermakers spread the ball around with eight players running the ball last week, seven catching passes and three completing passes. Andrew Boyle had a big game with three TD passes, a 46-yard TD run, three field goals and eight PAT kicks. The defense came up with three first-quarter interceptions last week, while allowing just 96 rushing yards.

FANS’ PICK: Camas (56 percent)
