GAME NOTES: Over the year, Mountain View has been known for its pounding running attack. But the Thunder have been taking more to the air with quarterback Garrett Moen, who has passed for 725 yards and four touchdowns. Makai Anderson is Moen’s top target with 18 catches for 261 yards. The Thunder can also grind out yards on the ground. Jack Mertens has rushed for 203 yards and Philip Earnhardt has 101 yards. Heritage’s freshman quarterback Nikki Scott passed for 394 yards and 5 TDs. But he left the Week 2 win over Hudson’s Bay and missed last week’s game at Kelso. Jacob Zapeda and Skyler Scoggins combined to throw for 112 yards against Kelso. Scoggins rushed for 45 yards.
