GAME NOTES: Ilwaco was outgained by Vernonia last week. The Fishermen used big plays to win, getting a safety when the Loggers snapped the ball out of the end zone on a punt attempt and a touchdown on a blocked punt return. QB Ethan Personius threw TD passes of 23 and 53 yards, accounting for 76 of 96 passing yards. Chandlor Bucklin scored four touchdowns for Columbia-White Salmon, a 53-yard run, two TD receptions and an interception return for a score. QB Austin Charters had two TD runs to go with two to TD passes. Cesar Isordia led the defense with seven tackles.
