GAME NOTES: Columbia-White Salmon thought it might be playing for a shot at the league title this week. But last week’s overtime loss to King’s Way Christian now has the Bruins scrambling for a playoff spot. That could come down to next week’s game with Stevenson because La Center is just rolling now. The Bruins committed six turnovers last week. Do that against La Center and it will be a long night. The Wildcats have won five in a row since opening 0-2. Last week’s win over 2A Burlington-Edison may have been their most impressive. Wyatt Dodson rushed for 321 yards last week and 542 over the past two weeks. He leads the region in rushing with 986 yards and 10 TDs. QB Hayden Williamson keeps teams from keying on Dodson, passing for 768 yards and nine TDs. La Center will clinch a share of the Trico League title with a win, and can win it outright with a win over Castle Rock next week.
