GAME NOTES: A difficult season continued for Fort Vancouver as the Trappers dropped their fifth game by shutout last week. Hudson’s Bay recorded its first shutout win since last year’s game against Fort. It was Bay’s first shutout win over team other than Fort in 15 years. With a win, and a Kelso win over Evergreen, Hudson’s Bay would be playing for the No. 2 seed to the Week 8 playoffs next week. A win over Fort would give the Eagles their first six-win season since 2001. First-year football player Quadrese Teague has been an all-purpose weapon for Bay. In the past three games, he had two kickoff returns for touchdowns against Mountain View, a TD reception and interception return for a touchdown against Prairie, and a TD run and another interception return for a score against Mark Morris.
