GAME NOTES: Not only would the winner of this game have the inside track for the league title, it would also almost certainly secure a playoff berth. Hockinson QB Canon Racanelli leads the region in passing with 1,296 yards and 17 touchdowns. Last week’s 164-yard game was his lowest passing total of the season, but he was very efficient – 16 of 18 with four touchdowns. Sawyer Racanelli is the region’s top receiver with 26 catches for 557 yards and 10 TDs. The Hawks are still looking for consistency in their ground game. Canon Racanelli is the top ground gainer with 208 yards and 6 TDs. Washougal RB Kade Coons leads the region with 630 rushing yards and 10 TDs. His 198-yard game last week was a season-best. The Panthers will look to plug a big hole left by the injury to linebacker/tight end Brevan Bea, who suffered a broken leg last week. Hockinson has won the last six meetings between the two teams.
