Week 4 prep football: Woodland vs. Hudson’s Bay

Woodland (1-2) vs. Hudson’s Bay (2-1)

WHEN: 5 p.m. Friday

WHERE: Kiggins Bowl, Discovery Middle School, 800 E 40th St., Vancouver

LAST WEEK: Woodland lost to Hockinson 49-27; Hudson’s Bay lost to Evergreen 12-7

2016 MEETING: Hudson’s Bay 39, Woodland 24

GAME NOTES: Woodland QB Wyatt Harsh passed for 270 yards and 4 TDs last week. But he lost a big weapon when Tyler Flanagan left with an ankle injury. His status for Week 4 is uncertain. Woodland has rushed for 191 yards in three games; Flanagan had 96 of those yards. Christian Yager caught three passes for 72 yards, two for touchdowns. Bay has big-play potential, but the Eagles have struggled to move the ball steadily. The Eagles had 212 yards of offense last week, almost a quarter of that came on a 48-yard TD pass play in the first quarter. Bay rushed for 46 yards last week, with 32 coming from All-Region RB Marcus Cadiz in his debut after suffering a shoulder injury in the preseason.
