GAME NOTES: Buckman Field Park features a multi-purpose turf fields installed through a collective effort by the city of Portland, Portland Public Schools, Nike, St.Mary’s Academy and Portland City Unified Soccer Club. The facility has no grandstands and limited lighting. Benson called off its season-opening game vs. Milwaukie (Ore.) because of a lack of eligible players. Benson QB Andrew Ketah relieved injured starter Tyler Phillips in the second quarter last week and passed for 186 yards and a TD. Fort got on the board for the first time this season on Darius Scheer’s field goal in the second quarter last week. The Trappers got into the end zone on Shawn Mintah’s TD reception from Devyn Turner, and Myron Lawrence’s run. Rickie Williams rushed for 124 yards last week.
