GAME NOTES: The Plainsmen had their best defensive game to date, holding Bay to 212 yards, only two plays of 15 yards or more and forcing four turnovers. Nadil Hodzic had eight catches for 93 yards, accounting for most of Triston Fich’s 124-yards passing. The Evergreen ground game struggled at times, with David Barrera leading the way with 45 yards. Black Hills was limited to 179 yards of offense against Prairie, but the Wolves came up big on special teams with a blocked punt for a TD and a punt return for another. Taylor Simmons (40 yards rushing) had fourth-quarter TD run that proved to be the difference.
