GAME NOTES: Woodland stunned Hockinson with its lone league loss last season. The Hawks will be better prepared this time around. The Beavers improved its line issues that gave them trouble in their Week 1 loss to Kalama, but there is still work to be done. QB Wyatt Harsh passed for 267 yards and two TDs last week, and Tyler Flanagan rushed for 86 and 3 TDs. Woodland’s defense will be put to the test against a Hockinson offense that has average 460 yards in the first two weeks. QB Canon Racanelli has passed for 631 yards. His brother Sawyer has 15 catches for 330 yards and 3 TDs. And this year, the Hawks have a ground attack to offer balance, rushing for 148 yards in each of the first two weeks.
