GAME NOTES: It’s been a rough start to the season for Battle Ground. A team that averaged more than 30 points a game last season, the Tigers suffered their first shutout loss since 2011 last week. Battle Ground gave up five TD passes to Tualatin. Now they will try to stop Mountain View’s ground attack. The Thunder have averaged 307 yards on the ground in the opening two weeks. QB Glen Perry Jr. is the county’s top rusher with 299 yards. He scored all three of Mountain View’s touchdowns last week.
