GAME NOTES: Evergreen sophomore Zyrell Griffin had a solid debut, catching two passes for 42 yards, rushing for two TDS (including a 61-yard run) and having some big returns on special teams. The Plainsmen defense made key stops in the red zone to deny Columbia River. Heritage QB Michael Taras was 23 of 42 passing for 291 yards last week. He rushed for 38 yards and three touchdowns and added a interception on defense. Heritage forced three turnovers last week. Ammon Garrison caught nine passes for 121 yards.
