GAME NOTES: Eastside Catholic beat Gonzaga Prep in three overtimes after tying 27-27 in regulation. senior QB completed 26 of 46 passes for 359 yards and 3 TDs. The Crusaders are the No. 1 team in 3A by the Associated Press. Defensive backs Malik Putney and Ayden Hector teamed up on the game-winning tackle on Gonzaga Prep’s two-point conversion try. Skyview QB Max Rose passed for 215 yards and 3 TDs. Tavis Pinkney caught 8 passes for 115 yards. Skyview’s defense kept Sunset in check, helping the Storm build leads of 24-0 and 31-6 in the third quarter.
