2016 MEETING: Camas 42, Central Catholic 10

GAME NOTES: After dropping its first two games in lopsided fashion, Central Catholic won 10 of 11 games to reach the Oregon 6A state title game. The Rams lost to West Linn 62-7. Central Catholic is ranked No. 2 in Oregon preseason rankings. The Rams return experience up front. QB Cade Knighton threw for more than 1,000 yards in part-time duty as a freshman last year, and sophomore WR Silas Starr has already received offers from Oregon and Oregon State. A lot is gone from Camas’ state-championship winning roster for 2016. But turnover hasn’t bothered the Papermakers in the past. Camas has not lost a regular-season game since 2011, a streak of 50 consecutive wins. Senior WR Drake Owen is the lone returning all-leaguer, but new players are ready to make their mark.

FANS’ PICK: Camas (64 percent)
