Update on Wednesday prep baseball/softball postponements

Wednesday morning was another soggy one. And even though we’ve moved to more scattered showers, the steady rain earlier today has led to many postponement of high school baseball and softball.

There is good news! Thursday looks like the start of a good stretch of playable days.

Thursday will have light showers with highs in the 50s. So as long as the rain early in the week hasn’t completely inundated fields, games could be played Thursday.

Friday and Saturday will be dry and warm, highs in 60s. And next week, at least according to long-range forecast, looks to be mostly dry with highest creeping into 70s possibly by midweek.

Here are Wednesday’s prep postponements for baseball and softball according to league websites.
