LAST WEEK: Black Hills beat Rochester 53-0; Hockinson beat R.A. Long 42-20.
GAME NOTES: Black Hills is the No. 3 team of the 2A Evergreen Conference; Hockinson is the 2A Greater St. Helens League champion. These two teams met in the playoffs two years ago with the Wolves taking a 21-0 lead into the fourth quarter only to lose to the Hawks 24-21. Kyler Nygren rushed for 103 yards and two TDs last week, as the Wolves piled up 414 total yards. Black Hills opened with losses to Timberline and Capital – two playoff 3A teams. The Wolves bounced back to beat Prairie, then rout Evergreen 59-14. The two teams have one common opponent – Prairie. Black Hills beat the Falcons 41-26 one week after the Hawks beat Prairie 41-14. Hockinson QB Canon Racanelli leads Southwest Washington in passing with 3,011 yards and 35 TDs. Sawyer Racanelli has 53 catches for 1,010 yards and 12 TDs.
