Hockinson, Seton Catholic teams earn academic state championships
Four Clark County athletic teams earned academic state championships for the fall athletic season, the WIAA announced Friday.
The Seton Catholic girls cross country team and girls soccer team topped Class 1A in those sports, as did the Hockinson girls swimming team and girls soccer team did in Class 2A.
The Seton Catholic girls cross country team posted a 3.980 team GPA for six students. The Cougars are coached by Jaysun Pyatt.
The Seton Catholic girls soccer team posted a 3.955 team GPA for 16 students. The Cougars are coached by Amanda Chase.
The Hockinson girls swimming team posted a 3.871 team GPA for four students. The Hawks are coached by Carolee McAfee.
The Hockinson girls soccer team posted a 3.747 team GPA for 22 students. The Hawks are coached by Joe Chicks.
