LAST WEEK: Fort Vancouver lost to Evergreen 41-0; Mountain View beat Kelso 27-14.
GAME NOTES: Mountain View is 2-0 in league; Fort is 0-2. This game was originally scheduled to be the first game of a doubleheader at Kiggins Bowl. When the Battle Ground-Skyview game was moved to Thursday, officials opted to keep this game at 5 p.m. start because there is no school on Friday for either school. Mountain View seized sole possession of first place with its win over Kelso, and the Thunder are the favorites now to claim the league title. Mountain View jumped out to a 20-0 lead by early in the second quarter last week. QB Andre Scheer passed for 118 yards and rushed for 82. Darien Chase caught six passes for 81 yards. The Trappers managed only 77 yards of offense in a little over two quarters of football in a fight-shortened game against Evergreen. Mountain View is 10-0 vs. Fort since 1999.
