LAST WEEK: Skyview lost to O’Dea 35-32; Mountain View lost to Battle Ground 48-26

GAME NOTES: Hayden Froeber ranks second in the region in rushing with 422 yards and 2 TDs. He’s had three 100-yard games, including 117 last week when the Storm’s rally against O’Dea fell short. The Storm are coming off back-to-back losses to top-ranked 3A foes. QB Brody Barnum has passed for 561 yards and 4 TDs. Mountain View is known for its rushing game, but the Thunder’s biggest offensive star this season has been sophomore receiver Darien Chase, who has 18 catches for 419 yards and 4 TDs. QB Andre Scheer has passed for 490 yards. This is the Thunder’s third straight game against a former 4A GSHL rival. Mountain View beat Skyview 25-22 last season, but Skyview eliminated Mountain View in a three-team tiebreaker at the end of the regular season.
