NON-LEAGUE GAME

WHEN, WHERE: 7 p.m. Friday at Corbett (Ore.) HS

LAST WEEK: Stevenson beat Lyle-Wishram 27-6; Corbett lost to Colton 35-0

GAME NOTES: Stevenson’s opener was a mixed bag. On one hand, QB Luke Nichols passed for 184 yards and two TDs. On the other, he completed 9 of 21 passes with two interceptions. Alex De La Rosa rushed for 40 yards and caught two passes for 69 yards. But the defense played very well. Colton lost key players off last year’s team that went 6-2. QB Tanner Davis leads the offense. The Cardinals’ strength is in their offensive line. Corbett’s low turnout numbers left it to play an independent schedule.

FANS’ PICK: Stevenson (74 percent, by 10 a.m. Thursday)
