Prep football preview: Goldendale vs. Columbia-White Salmon
NON-LEAGUE GAME WHEN, WHERE: 7 p.m. Friday at Columbia High School Stadium, White Salmon. LAST YEAR: Goldendale 6-4; Columbia-White Salmon 6-3. GAME NOTES: Goldendale with 4-2 in the SCAC and lost to Royal 70-2 in a district playoff. First-year coach Alan Hale faces a rebuilding job this season, as the Timberwolves return just two starters from 2015. Columbia-White Salmon is in a similar boat, with just two returning starters on offense and three on defense. But one of those starters is QB Austin Bucklin.
