Video: Woodland’s Bryce Mulder turns a block into two points for other team

When does a clean block turn into a bad thing?

Well, when you block it too hard to the floor.

That’s what happened to Woodland’s Bryce Mulder. The 6-11 junior blocked a reversal attempt in Friday’s game against La Center. The block went straight to the floor, bounced straight up and went into the basket.

Two points for La Center.

So the player who had his shot blocked celebrates, while the one who did the blocking stands with his hands on his hips … the strangest play of this season so far.

La Center went on to win the game 49-45.
