Players to watch: Columbia River WR Alex McGarry had a 71-yard TD reception last week vs. Tumwater; Fort QB Erik Coppinger threw two TD passes last week vs. Kelso.
Game notes: After starting the season 2-0, Columbia River has dropped three in a row, all to 2A Evergreen Conference teams. The Chieftains have given up an average of 47 points over the past three games. Fort has scored 34 points in its one win and 19 total points in its four losses. Columbia River has won the last seven meetings, dating back to 2007.
